Description
Crispy brie flatbread topped with melty cheese, tart cranberries, toasted walnuts, and a spicy-sweet hot honey drizzle—ready in just 15 minutes!
Ingredients
2 flatbreads or naan
1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
150 g brie cheese, sliced
½ cup (80 g) dried cranberries
½ cup (60 g) walnuts
3 tbsp (45 ml) honey
½ tsp chili flakes
Fresh thyme, to garnish
Cracked black pepper, to garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Brush flatbreads lightly with olive oil and place on a parchment-lined baking tray.
3. Top evenly with slices of brie, dried cranberries, and walnuts.
4. Bake for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden and crispy.
5. While the flatbread bakes, gently warm the honey and stir in the chili flakes to infuse.
6. Remove flatbreads from the oven and drizzle generously with the hot honey.
7. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves and cracked black pepper.
8. Slice with a pizza cutter and serve warm immediately.
Notes
Keep the rind on the brie—it’s edible, flavorful, and melts beautifully.
Slice the brie while cold for the cleanest cuts.
Watch closely in the last 2 minutes so the walnuts don’t burn.
For a milder version, skip the chili flakes in the honey.
Prep components ahead but bake just before serving for the best texture.
